Professional journey started as Desktop Support Engineer back in February, 2003 in FORTE, Kolkata and was promoted to Senior Engineer which continued till October, 2005.
Moved to Compumaniac in November, 2005 as Customer Support Executive, and got the opportunity to experience the first taste of GNU/Linux hands-on. Stayed with the organization till the mid of 2007.
Received an offer on June, 2007 and joined Praxis Business School (a then startup of AIM Education Pvt. Ltd. and now a premier Business School in Kolkata) as IT Infrastructure Executive. Was provided with the responsibility to design and setup the overall IT Infrastructure of the institute’s campus at Bakrahat Road, North 24 Parganas, Kolkata. Continued my engagement with the organization for more than four years till the end of 2011 (October).
Decided to take a formal short-break from corporate job and moved to Bengaluru. Took a short training on EMC Storage Foundation from an individual and continued to work as a freelancer till mid of 2012.
Moved to Kolkata to join Conversys Technologies Pvt. Ltd. as Senior System Admin to work with GNU/Linux for a short term of five months from July to November, 2012 until I got the opportunity to join my next and present organization.
From November, 2012 onward till current date staying in Bengaluru and working for ITC Infotech India Ltd. as Lead Consultant playing a role of Shift Lead.
